JONNY BINGHAM

Lead Singer

Jonny Bingham was a trained Cathedral Solo Chorister who transferred his talent to Jazz where he spent 3 years as the lead singer with the renowned Mood Indigo, he then co-formed New Swing All Stars. He is also a talented actor with many credits to his name.

ANDY TYTHERLEIGH

Bass Player

Andy Tytherleigh is the East Midlands foremost Bass player. Performing in all of the country's stand out Jazz venues, Andy is also a complete Ballbag.

PAUL "PAULUS" DEETS

Pianist

Paul Deats; Jazz, Funk, Blues piano. ‘A powerful and intense player, ..lyrical and thoughtful’.
Paul aka Paulus has toured Europe and the UK extensively. He is a constantly inventive arranger and composer making him a much sought after player, performer and collaborator.

ANDREW "WOODY" WOOD

Drummer

Andrew Wood (BA jazz, Leeds College of Music) is a jazz drummer based in Nottingham, UK. Having his professional debut at 16, Andrew is now an experienced performer working in the Midlands region and further afield. Playing with a diverse range of East Midlands jazz musicians such as Colin Dudman, Fred Thelonious Baker, Martyn Spencer, Pat McCarthy, Ben Martin and Hugh Pascall, Andrew's versatility and ability is complete.

HUGH PASCAL

Horn Player

Hugh studied Trumpet and Flugelhorn at the Royal Academy of Music and Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP), on a Full Entrance Scholarship and Sir Elton John Scholarship. Since graduating in 2005 with a 1st class BMus in Jazz, LRAM Teaching Diploma and winning the 2005 RAM Scott-Fulbritzer Jazz Prize, Hugh has been working as a professional musician; performer, composer & arranger and teacher.

His performance career has recently taken him to the Village Underground NYC, the A-Trane in Berlin and King’s Place in London. He has recently performed and recorded with Claire Martin and Julian Joseph and works regularly with John Turville, Rob Barron, George Crowley, James Allsopp, Mike Lesirge, Tim Thornton and Tim Giles.

He is currently soloist with the E17 Large Ensemble, led by Carlos Lopez-Real and John Turville, forming part of the E17 collective, and soloist with the North London Big Band and Birmingham Jazz Orchestra (BJO). As a session musician he has recorded and performed for numerous pop acts, broadcasting many times on national radio and television, most recently for the X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing TV shows.
